Jusqu’en septembre 2018, il n’existait aucune formation ni évaluation formalisées pour les agents de stérilisation du CHRU de Nancy. Les objectifs ont été de créer un parcours de formation formalisé, d’enregistrer la formation et l’évaluation d’un agent à l’aide d’un support écrit. L’ensemble des moyens de formation disponibles au sein du service a été recensé et les outils manquants ont été créés. Un parcours d’intégration type a été créé. Il est découpé en grandes parties : une semaine d’accueil suivie de plusieurs semaines de formation. La semaine d’accueil consiste en l’observation de l’ensemble des activités du service. La formation proprement dite est divisée en deux parties. Elle débute par une formation théorique suivie de 12 semaines de formation pratique. Les 12 semaines suivantes sont du perfectionnement. Le suivi est assuré par des évaluations théoriques et pratiques, par une grille des activités à maîtriser complétée au fur et à mesure de l’apprentissage et par une fiche de suivi sur laquelle sont formalisés les entretiens hebdomadaires avec l’équipe pharmaceutique. Un carnet de bord a été créé et rassemble l’ensemble des documents utiles servant à un agent tout au long de son parcours en stérilisation. Le but du parcours de formation est de guider et d’impliquer les nouveaux agents, de leur arrivée en service de stérilisation à leur formation continue et de standardiser les pratiques professionnelles. Il reste à évaluer si les outils mis en place permettent d’améliorer les connaissances et les compétences du personnel.

Until September 2018, there was no formal training or evaluation for sterilization agents at Nancy's hospital (CHRU). The goal was to create a formalized training path, to record the training and the evaluation of an agent using a written support. All the training resources available in the service have been identified and the missing tools have been created. A typical induction period has been created. It is divided into large parts: a welcome week followed by several weeks of training. The welcome week consists of observing all the activities of the service. The following training is divided into two parts. It begins with a theoretical training followed by 12weeks of practical training. The next 12weeks are dedicated to develop their knowledge. Follow-up is ensured through theoretical and practical evaluations, a grid of activities to be mastered completed as and when learning and a monitoring sheet on which are formalized weekly interviews with the pharmaceutical team. Finally, a logbook has been created and brings together all the useful documents for an agent throughout his career as a sterilization agent. The aim of the training path is to guide and involve the new agents, from their arrival in sterilization service to their continuous training, and to standardize the professional practices. It remains to be seen whether the tools put in place improve the knowledge and skills of the staff.
