Over the last few years, hundreds of endoscopic forehead lifts have been performed at the authors' practice. The endoscope has allowed the authors to perform a forehead lift through four small incisions rather than one large one. The magnification permits the muscles of the central forehead to be resected accurately, without damage to the small nerves and vessels. The subperiosteal plane is almost always used, which limits damage to the branches of the supraorbital nerve. Over time, the authors have modified their techniques to further decrease the incidence of undesirable sequela.
