• | If a patient is clinically stable at D3, antibiotic treatment duration is limited to three days. |
• | Hydrocortisone hemisuccinate is indicated in the event of severe CAP and must be rapidly administered. |
• | Indications for multiplex respiratory PCR assay must be limited to precise situations. |
• | Thoracic ultrasound can be utilized as first-line radiological diagnosis of CAP. |
• | Chest CT-scan is indicated in the event of uncertain or uninterpretable chest radiographs. |
