Climate change is a public health emergency, but medical students are just beginning to hear of its consequences. Medical Students for a Sustainable Future is a national organization that works to equip medical students with the skills they need to advocate for environmental reform, in the name of patients. On February 10, 2024, MS4SF hosted its very first Climate Health Equity Day to highlight the intersection of climate change and health, inviting a panel of interdisciplinary speakers to inspire and mobilize the attendees. This piece seeks to underscore the deep concern that medical students from around the country have for the future of our planet, along with the most recent work that MS4SF has done in this realm.
