Depuis 2010, on observe l’émergence d'une nouvelle espèce de champignon pathogène, Trichophyton indotineae, qui provoque des dermatophytoses résistantes à la terbinafine. Nous décrivons un cas de tinea corporis chez un patient bangladais vivant en France, initialement en échec de traitement, chez qui l'identification de la souche a permis une meilleure approche de cette dermatophytose difficile à traiter.

Since 2010, a new pathogenic fungal species, Trichophyton indotineae, has emerged, causing terbinafine-resistant dermatophytosis. A case of tinea corporis is described in a Bangladeshi patient living in France who initially failed treatment, but the identification of the strain has enabled a better approach to this difficult-to-treat dermatophytosis.
