Après que la Food and Drug Adminsitration (FDA) ait approuvé l’utilisation de l’angiomammographie en 2011, l’American College of Radiology (ACR) a publié en 2022 un addendum à l’atlas du Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) de 2013 portant sur cette technique d’imagerie mammaire. L’objectif de cet article est de proposer une synthèse de ce document qui vise à améliorer la cohérence des comptes rendus et valider les termes à utiliser pour de futures études. Il y est détaillé le lexique à utiliser, similaire sans être identique au BI-RADS de l’IRM. Il y est ensuite rappelé la structure élémentaire du compte rendu. Enfin des situations inédites de l’angiomammographie y sont détaillées en proposant des pistes de réflexion.

After the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of contrast-enhanced mammography in 2011, the American College of Radiology published in 2022 an addendum to the 2013 Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) atlas about this technique of breast imaging. The purpose of this article is to provide a summary of this document that aims to improve the consistency of reporting and validate the terms to be used for future studies. It details the lexicon to be used, which is similar but not identical to the MRI BI-RADS. The basic structure of the report is then recalled. Finally, new situations in contrast-enhanced mammography are detailed, proposing avenues for reflection.
