The presentation of cerebral abscess and subdural empyema with symptomatic short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache attacks with conjunctival injection and tearing (SUNCT syndrome) - 06/05/08
SUNCT syndrome (Short-lasting Unilateral Neuralgiform headache associated with Conjunctival injection and Tearing ) is a rare form of primary headache, although secondary forms, particularly related to posterior fossa abnormalities, are well known. This paper reports what the authors believe to be the first case of SUNCT syndrome in a 67 year old man who had a pyogenic cerebral abcess and an empyema of the convexity of the right frontal lobe.
