En 1995, trois agences internationales ont conceptualisé la démarche École promotrice de santé, qui porte sur trois axes : protéger, éduquer, prévenir. En France, elle s’inscrit, depuis 2018, dans la continuité du parcours éducatif de santé et, plus récemment, dans l’objectif de santé globale One Health. Les établissements et la communauté éducative doivent conduire des actions de sensibilisation et d’éducation, dans le but de déployer une culture commune autour de la santé.

In 1995, three international agencies conceptualized the Health Promoting School approach, which focuses on three axes: protect, educate, prevent. In France, since 2018, it has been part of the continuity of the educational health pathway and, more recently, of the global health objective One Health. Schools and the educational community must carry out awareness and education activities, with the aim of developing a common culture around health.
