The ProBA project and the antibiotic monitoring system was developed within the current institutional regional activities. The ProBA2 (the second part of the implementation project started in 2014) received public funds from the Ministry of Health, through the CCM 2014 – Good practices for surveillance and control of antibiotic resistance (Buone pratiche per la sorveglianza e il controllo dell'antibioticoresistenza), a funding scheme of the National centre for prevention and control of diseases (Centro nazionale per la prevenzione e il controllo delle malattie). The sponsor had not involvement in (1) study design; (2) the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data; (3) the writing of the report; and (4) the decision to submit the manuscript for publication. After that date, no further funds have been received. The authors declare no conflicts of interest. |
