This article has been retracted at the request of the Authors and Editor-in-Chief.
The Authors contacted the Journal stating that they discovered that Fig2C contained errors due to cells contaminated during colony formation assay, and that the original data was lost.
Since raising this, concerns of image duplication and potential manipulation were raised on PubPeer (2AE6BD94499B207A2AD4ABE07B6322?utm_source=Chrome&utm_medium=BrowserExtension&utm_campaign=Chrome.
The Journal’s own analysis confirmed similarity of some figures with two earlier, now retracted, articles:
