Résumé |
Objective |
Depressed patients more suffer from the shortcomings of neuropsychological than normal individuals. Therefore, to address depression and identifying effective treatments, it is important to reduce. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of rTMS therapy on reducing depression and neuropsychological functioning in depressed women.
Methods |
This research is an application of semi-experimental that Performed on women 20 to 50 years with depressive disorder. In this study, 30 women who had a diagnosis of depression were selected by random sampling method and were divided into experimental and control groups. Then were taken the pre-test from both groups. The data collection instrument was DASS questionnaire, Stroop test and continuous Performance Test. 10 sessions of rTMS for the experimental group were performed. After 5 weeks Posttest was performed. The data were analyzed using Multivariate Analysis of Variance.
Results |
The analysis showed that rTMS therapy has a significantly effect on reduced depression and improved neuropsychological function.
Conclusion |
According to the results, rTMS therapy can help improve the psychological status of patients with reducing depression and improve neuropsychological function in women with depression.
