The notion of soul is inherent to that of the human body. What does the knowledge of different currents of thought bring, that is to say, an anthropological and metaphysical look at this notion of soul attached to the body, to the corpse, and to the biological samples? What degree of complexity to give to it? In the following examples (Haitian voodoo, scholasticism, Hinduism, Sufism, Kabbalah and Egyptian antiquity), we will see how this fragmentation makes it possible to better understand the different aspects of the human soul. We will also see how this knowledge can help clinical and laboratory medical practice.

La notion d’âme est inhérente à celle de corps humain. Qu’apporte la connaissance de différents courants de pensée, c’est-à-dire un regard à la fois anthropologique et métaphysique sur cette notion d’âme rattachée au corps, au cadavre, et aux échantillons biologiques? Quel degré de complexité donner à celle-ci? Dans les exemples suivants (vaudou haïtien, scolastique, hindouisme, soufisme, kabbale et antiquité égyptienne), on verra comment cette fragmentation permet de mieux cerner les différents aspects de l’âme humaine. On verra aussi comment ces connaissances peuvent aider à la pratique médicale clinique et de laboratoire.
