The French Society of ORL and Head and Neck Surgery is organizing the World Congress of ENT, IFOS-2017. This is a major event for our specialty. We have decided to publish a book entitled Robotics and Digital Guidance in ENT–H&N Surgery. This work is remarkable, and calls upon many international experts. It testifies to the dynamism of the members of the French ENT society and the coordinators of this book, Bertrand Lombard and Philippe Céruse. I would like to thank them and, with them, the authors associated in writing the various chapters.

By deciding to write it in English and to make it available to all, the French Society of ENT wanted to promote the transmission of knowledge and will encourage the continuation of this action in the coming years.

La Société Française d’ORL et de chirurgie cervico-faciale organise le congrès mondial de l’ORL, IFOS-2017. Il s’agit d’un événement majeur pour notre spécialité. A cette occasion nous avons décidé d’éditer le rapport Robotics and Digital Guidance in ENT–H&N Surgery. Ce travail est remarquable, il fait appel à de nombreux experts internationaux. Il est le témoin du dynamisme des membres de la French ENT society et des coordonnateurs de cet ouvrage, Bertrand Lombard et Philippe Céruse. Je tiens à les remercier, et avec eux, les auteurs associés à la rédaction des différents chapitres.

En décidant sa rédaction en langue anglaise, sa diffusion à tous, the French ENT Society a souhaité promouvoir la transmission des connaissances et formule le vœu de favoriser la poursuite de cette action dans les prochaines années.
