The dorsal preservation technique is an excellent way to perform rhinoplasty when anatomically appropriate. Certain post-traumatic deviated noses with a harmonious dorsum and no prominent hump can be managed through slide preservative rhinoplasty. This technic enables nasal straightening with minimal dissection of nasal and septal tissues. An intraoral approach is employed to perform osteotomies and stabilize the result using maxillary bone plates for osteosynthesis. Slide preservative rhinoplasty with intraoral approach and osteosynthesis represents an innovative, expedient, and efficient way to optimize the short- and long-terms outcomes in carefully selected post-traumatic deviated noses.
